How You Can Support the Waverly Farmers’ Market Video

Submitted by admin on Mon, 2009-08-24 12:29

There are two ways to support this project. If you are in a position to make a donation, we could really use financial support. The second way to help is through volunteering, which is a great way to get to know your neighbors and make new friends.

If you are an experienced professional, you can use your skills to make a big difference in your community. If you are between jobs or just interested in learning new skills, this is a great opportunity to make contacts and learn from the experts. Everyone is welcome.

NEW: Online volunteer signup!

Sign up to staff the table for an hour or two (or 1.5 hours) at the Waverly Farmers Market. It's an enjoyable time to talk to neighbors and friends about supporting this video project.

A collaboration of the 32nd Street Farmers Market and Megaphone Project

Submitted by admin on Sun, 2009-06-14 22:42

Megaphone Project and the 32nd Street Farmers Market are collaborating on a video:

  • to raise awareness of the benefits of eating healthy, local food
  • to generate more business for the farmers, especially from community residents within walking distance who have never shopped at the market, and
  • to generate awareness and revenue for Megaphone Project. We’re a nonprofit organization in Charles Village that produces media for social change. (Our tag line is “We tell stories that change lives.”)
